MEET THE TEAM
Dr. Greg Biehle
Owner & Veterinarian
Graduated from Texas A&M in 1978. Soon after he purchased Brykerwood Veterinary Clinic in Austin Texas and has been practicing medicine ever since. He is a man of his word and thrives on the relationships he builds and keeps with his clients and patients. He has four wonderful children and is a family man at heart. He enjoys the charity work he does, including years of service to the local SPCA. He also has serviced the community by doing a weekly local spot every Thursday on FOX news’ “ask the vet” segment. In his spare time he loves to retreat to his family farm, tending to his cows and enjoying the outdoors.
Dr. Bethany Moore
Associate Veterinarian
Graduated in 2008 from Texas A& M University Vet School. She received her undergraduate degree in creative advertising from the University of Texas. Before joining Brykerwood in 2009, Bethany practiced at a busy clinic in San Antonio. Over the last 2 ½ years, she has enjoyed expanding her diagnostic and surgical skills. 4 dogs; 3 Whippets and 1 Australian Sheperd, as well as one cat complete Bethany’s household. Starting in vet school, she has loved competing with her dogs in agility, obedience, rally obedience, and lure coursing. Her professional memberships include the Capital Area Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of Brykerwood, her interests include snowboarding, SCUBA diving, reading, cooking and enjoying outdoor Austin with her dogs.
Dr. Bonnie Kemnitz
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Bonnie, a native Texan, attended Tarleton State University and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She spent her first few years working at a mixed animal practice in Bastrop, Texas. She joined our team in 2018. She and her husband, also a vet, live in Bastrop with thier 4 dogs: Sadie and Toby the dachshunds and Ivy and Edna the Labs. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time at the ranch with the cattle, goats and horses, and traveling when they can find time.
Dr. Kaitlyn Heideman
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Heideman is excited to be with Brykerwood Vet Clinic! She joined our staff in February 2016 and has excelled at connecting with clients and their patients with her warm, detail oriented personality. Kaitlyn graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2015 after doing her undergraduate at Texas A&M University. After graduating she returned state side to her home town here in Austin and we luckily were able to hire her. Her main loves are becoming an outstanding vet and spending time doing agility and dock diving with her dogs Zelly, Aspen, and Quiz. She’s also pouring love to her special needs foster kitten, Charlie, who has FELV.
Fred Rodriguez
Practice Manager
Many of you know Fred very well. He has worked at Brykerwood since April 1995. In all his years, Fred really cherishes the special relationships he has built with so many clients and patients. He is our invaluable go- to man. Fred lives in Plugerville with his wife, Laura, and three sons, Ethan, Jace, and Brance. They have a French Bulldog named “Achillies”. Fred enjoys spending his free time at home with his family, playing baseball with his boys, and taking his truck to the carwash.

Technician
Rene joined BVC in July 2016. He likes getting to know each animal’s unique quirks and personalities as they stay with us. He wears his big wonderful heart on his sleeve and in his smile, and we love him for it. In his spare time, he spends time with his daughters, goes fishing, and hangs out with his exotic menagerie ( trust us- just ask him about it). His quote “ Life is too short to not do what you love everyday (especially if you are lucky enough to get paid for it)”

Animal Care Whisperer
I’ve worked with animals for over 8 years, including a cattle ranch, animal shelter, and boarding center. My greatest joy comes from caring for and learning from all animals in my care. I live in Austin with my fiance and dachshund mix Salazar. We all love to travel together and often spend our time going on camping trips or heading to the mountains to snowboard.
